Does the intercom require 2 or more numbers null

Hello Phil! For the intercom feature you do not need a phone number. An intercom call is a call between the handsets or the base unit and a handset. You can make intercom calls when at least 2 handsets are registered to the system, or one handset and one base unit. Hope this helps! - S
