• Hi there! The KX-TGF975S has the power back-up feature available. When a power failure occurs, the charged handset temporarily supplies power to the base unit. If you do not use the handset at all during the power outage and it is fully charged, the battery in the handset will last 1.5 hours maximum. Hope this helps! - S
