Does this phone require electical outlet? null

The unit comes with an adaptor but it will still work as a standard telephone if you do not have it plugged in on a power outlet so you can make and receive phone calls. Some features will not work for the system if it is not plugged in to an electrical outlet such as speaker phone, line indicator and intercom.
