• Yes it does, which is why I am highly considering purchasing this camera.

• Yes it does and you can easily switch back and forth between the viewfinder and screen without having to turn one off if that's what you would like--see settings. I have mine set up to be able to switch back and forth but there is one thing that can be annoying about that set up. If you are using the screen to take photos and your hand or face (or whatever) shadows the viewfinder area, the screen goes dark, thinking that you are using the viewfinder. That freaked me out for a long time until I figured out what was happening. If you know you're only going to use one or the other, I recommend setting it up for that way so you don't have worry about the screen going dark, etc.
