• One hour at least. The camera can be connected to the ac power. For more battery power, the battery can be charge at the same time.

• I am using it as point and shoot when out and about, or on vacation, but as far as I can say I get about 6hrs I think continuous use. If plugged in to a computer (not sure about A/C power, though should be the same answer) it will charge and download/record pictures or videos at the same time.
