• After using basically the very same product for 12 years, I did not need replacement blades. After this time period when it did not perform to my satisfaction, I said bye bye and bought a new one.

• According to the replacement parts list included with the trimmer, yes, the blade block is available as a replacement part from Panasonic. The part number listed is WERGN30K1058. There is no price listed. The phone number to order parts is: 1-800-332-5368. The top protective cap, and the battery cover are also shown as available parts as well. Hope this helps!
