• Lift the cap at the bottom.

• Please turn the trimmer upside down. Locate the circular ring marked with Model No. ER430, This is the cover of the battery area. Grasp cogs on ring and turn counter-clockwise 1/8th of a turn. Grasp cover and pull up, Install battery and reverse steps.
