Hello there! The battery life of the depends on the battery used and the radio band used. When using Alkaline LR6 batteries, the battery life is approximatively 52 hours for FM and 55 hours for AM. When using Manganese R6 batteries, the battery life is approximatively 21 hours for FM and 20 hours for AM. We hope this helps! - F

Bought this first wonderful radio in the beginning of January. Have been using it for 4-5 days a week for 7 months for at least 1-3 hours a day, and have not had to change the batteries yet. My husband and I love both of our Panasonic radios. I bought my radio shortly after my spouse started using his. I use my my radio at least 1-2 hours every day and have not replaced the batteries since they were first put in.
