“Why do I get a low buzzing noise when the radio is plugged in using the AC line but not with just using the batteries? Can this be fixed as the buzz/static when plugged in is annoying.”

I have now tried the radio in four different outlets and still get the buzz/static. I don't get the buzz/static when I plug my boombox radio into the same outlets. Please advise.
