“I see its adjustable, but does the lowest setting allow. you to "shave" your face down to "nothing" and then use a different setting to trim the beard? Hoping to find an all-in-one so I don't have to pack a face shaver and a beard trimmer.”

You can get very close to zero on your face with the comb removed. Otherwise the 1mm setting with the comb is about 1mm.

You can remove the guard and get a pretty close shave with that but it’s not the with Tony holes for a close shave. There is no electric shaver on the market that will get as close as metal razor blade though
