“Are the speakers detachable? I am getting different answers. I would like to place the unit in a cabinet and have to run the speaker wires through a hole in the back and reconnect them so the speakers will sit on the shelf. Thank you.”

Yes. speakers are connected via wires that you plug into the back of the unit

Please do not install or place this unit in a bookcase, built-in cabinet or in another confined space. Make sure this unit is well ventilated. - S
