“I have a Samsung tv, and it’s known that Samsung does not support Dolby Vision (DV) With that said, am I better off getting this 4K Blu Ray player (no DV) instead of it’s pricier sibling, the UB-820 (with DV)?”

• I purchased the 420 for the fact that it has all the qualities of the 820, except Dolby Vision. DV was not a 'must have' for me, so the price difference was a major factor.

• Hello. It would be entirely up to your choice which player fits your needs better. The DP-UB820 will need a device that supports Dolby Vision in order to play the content. -G
