I have given this as a gift. If I remember correctly it has an annual subscription you're going to need to be sure to cancel it you don't want to continue with that option. Some ideas on that would be either PayPal (if you can) so you can "unsubscribe" when the subscription is over or could simply pay for it with a prepaid visa gift card that will not have funds for the renewal.
