When recording in motion detection mode the dashcam will activate a screensaver and the screen will go blank while still recording in the background, after pushing a button on the dashcam to activate the screen a pop up will come up and give you a count for how many times motion was detected. (Example, Motion Detected: 2 Times)

The front cam has two mounting options a suction cup mount and an adhesive mount. The rear cam is applied with an adhesive mount. -This limited warranty is given only to the original purchaser of the product.
-The limited warranty shall be restricted to the country/region of product purchase.
-The limited warranty is only valid and enforceable in countries where the product is sold.
-The limited warranty shall last for 12 months from the date of original purchase. The invoice will be required as the proof of purchase.
-The limited warranty covers the expenses for inspecting and repairing the product during the warranty period.
-The defective product shall be delivered by the purchaser to the reseller store or authorized dealer, along with the warranty card and the invoice (proof of purchase).

If you're set on the GSS78016G model then you will have to purchase either a hardwire kit (PN: UDC-US) or power the dashcam using a power bank at all times you'd like to take advantage of surveillance features. The dashcam needs to be plugged into an appropriate power source at all times you'd like it to function. If your vehicle's cigarette lighter ports do not stay live after powering down the vehicle you will either need to power it via hardwire kit or power bank. The recording time is dependent on the dashcam's settings and the size of the micro SD card that you are using. The cost of installation is dependent on where you get it installed. The dashcam should work fine with your vehicle.
