The Paperlike doesn't have a specific life-span because it depends on how often you use it, how hard you press with the pencil, and how you care for it (cleaning). We recommend you adjust the iPad sensitivity so you don't have to press too hard, and that you clean the Paperlike often with a damp cloth and a drop of soap.
