How does the B&O speaker sound? Is the base good? null

Yes, it's a nice, rich base for the size of the speakers.

The one thing I did not like about the sound on this computer is that there is no equalizer to adjust your sound settings (I had an equalizer on my laptop and I was spoiled, I loved it) The speakers aren't Harman Kardon or Bose, so if you like GREAT sound you may want to invest in speakers. I was surprised when I did hear it in my office for the first time, it was louder than I thought it would be.
