• Nevermind Ubuntu, Linux Mine Debbie works without safe mode or anything. You will need a wifi adapter though. Newegg is selling a 5Ghz / 2.4 Ghz. Asus mini adapter for 20$. https://www.linuxmint.com/download_lmde.php

• To get WiFi working, follow this tutorial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPfLVsyQU_A Ubuntu runs great on it, but also go to sound setting and set firefox sound to 100%.
