“Are the grips able to be put on & removed easily? Do they the grips become more flimsy after consecutive removals?”

Yep! They go on and come off very easy. Couldn’t speak to the consecutive removal part of the question, but after putting them on and taking them off twice they’re still snug on the Joy Cons.

I personally just got them for the joystick covers but tried the joycons covers out of curiosity and was not impressed. Very loose and slippery material. I wouldn't expect them to last more than a month with regular removal and applications
