Thank you for your question, David. The Switch dock will certainly fit in the backpack, along with your other accessories. They should be safe while you are carrying them around in most everyday situations. -PDP Customer Experience

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I have put my doc in the big pouch several times during several trips. Unless you are putting your bag at the bottom of a bunch of heavy luggage, all your items will be just fine. The longest trip I've taken was across the country to Disney World. I wore my bag during the trip but I also have to store it several times, and it always turned out all right. All my items and accessories work just fine. But I wouldn't suggest putting it with a large load of luggage. Because if you do, it could end up at the bottom of a big pile of luggage and nobody's items are safe No Matter What bag you have. This is a carry-on bag.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a sleeve for the switch and you can place the dock in the main compartment. As for getting crushed, I imagine that would depend on how you pack and travel. I used this bag as my carry on for a recent flight. I had the console, dock, all cables, two Joy cons, Joy con charger, pro controllers, two games with boxes, and all the cables in the bag. I had no issue with storage or anything getting crushed. I’d say it’s probably “drop safe” up to a few feet. I wouldn’t think it would be crush proof if it was sat on or something of the sort. I hope this helps.
