“Does the Closed Caption button really work? I have a Harmony remote and it doesn't list an IR command for captions on the Xbox One, so I've just been assuming that there isn't one. If this really works, I may have to pick one up.”

I have not been able to get the CC button to work. Kind of annoying, actually. Now, I have discovered I can usually push a different button (B, I think??) and that activates a menu bar across the bottom that contains a CC option, and I can turn it on from there, but the CC button on the remote doesn't do a thing, as near as I've been able to tell.

I have been using the B button to get the sub menu to put the caption on any app that I am using. I don’t know if I didn’t sync this remote to the Xbox correctly, or if I got a botched remote. I did buy it on Amazon and others have had complaints. I wonder if re-syncing it to the Xbox will make it work. Makes me want to buy one from Best Buy and see if that one works.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Every time i tried the CC it didn’t work. I had to enable closed caption on my TV, Netflix, Xbox, individually through those apps/services, the CC on the remote never worked independently.
