Yes you sure can have it with the Xbox One X

Yes. You can take it from unit to unit room to room it's compatilbe without syncing.

It is supposed to be compatible with all versions of Xbox ones. Once synced, it will automatically install drivers. Works fine with my One S. On a side note, in order to use the Blu-ray or DVD feature, you will need to download the app first. Thought that should have been a factory installed feature.
