Hi there, the Pebblebee clip universal is a bluetooth tracker with a bluetooth range of up to 500ft. Outside of bluetooth range the device depends on the Google network to help you track your items. If other Android users are nearby your device you will get an updated location in your Find My Device app of your device's location. There is no subscription required.
