• A:Answer Hi there, the Pebblebee clip universal is a bluetooth tracker with a bluetooth range of up to 500ft. Outside of bluetooth range the device depends on the Google network to help you track your items. If other Android users are nearby your device you will get an updated location in your Find My Device app of your device's location. There is no subscription required.

Q: QuestionIf I have my phone paired with this tracker and put it on my teen while traveling in a foreign country where I don't have cell service and I lost him, would I be able to track him? like if he was kidnapped or lost?

• A:Answer Hi there, the Pebblebee devices are bluetooth only devices where they connect with bluetooth and you can buzz and locate your device. If you are out of bluetooth range then they use the Google or Apple network to provide an updated location. So the device needs to have other Google or Apple devices around to update the location. If you are trying to track anywhere then a GPS device is probably best, but there are limitations for GPS devices too. Hope that helps.

• A:Answer Push it twice to power up. It helps to get your index finger squarely behind the Bee logo on the backside and pinch it, rather than push. 3 pushes and a 4th long hold resets it.
