“Can the camera tilt down?If yes, what will be the degree that I can tilt the camera down? How does the subscription works? Without Petcube subscription, can I see a day of recording OR nothing is recorded without subscription & only provided as live view”

No the camera cannot tilt down. If you subscribe for the video history there is the option of 10 days or 30 Days. If you do not subscribe like me, you can keep footage for up to four hours in your history. Videos that i wanted to keep I just saved to my camera roll. Hope this helps

If you don't have a Petcube Care subscription you will get 4 last hours history of the recorded videos and unlimited live access.
