For the most part, the adhesive is strong. I have had to add some extra adhesive strips where the light strip curved at the end but that might have been due to humid conditions. This was only needed at a few spots and wasn’t an overall issue. Gorilla tape works well or even Command picture strips (which is what I used).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As far as adhesives go it’s good I did clean the surface with alcohol before putting on wood trim just to help it stick a little better
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The adhesive is strong enough to hold the light strip. Make sure the area you want hang the lights is clean and dry and free from any dust or debris. Be careful buying certified refurbished, though. My Certified Refurbished light strip has some…issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s pretty strong actually. Make sure the surface is clean and dry. I used some rubbing alcohol (90%) on a microfiber hand towel to wipe the surface down beforehand. Then as I applied the tape I rubbed across the surface fairly firmly to ensure it was holding on. Take your time and make sure it’s all pressed firmly onto the surface as you move along. The tape and room should be warm during this process as well.
