Yes, they work for me in a recessed light fixture in my kitchen. It does not seem to impact the wireless signal.

Don't forget you need a Hue Hub to be able to control them and the light switch itself needs to be left on. Then you turn the lights on or off or dim them from the app on your phone or tablet.
