Alone? No. You will want to purchase a starter kit with a Huge Bridge first. These lights are add-ons for existing Hue homes, and you'll be disappointed to get this bulb home to find it unusable. I suggest the Color Starter Kit (3 bulbs, hub: $199) as a starting point. Once you have a Hue bridge, it works perfectly with Google Home. I have 12 Hue lights in my home integrated with my Google Home. It creates an amazing experience - I'll probably never be able to live without it now that I've experienced it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Google Home and Philips Hue integrate easily. It probably goes without saying, but you will need a hue hub.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works great with Home. You will need the Hue Hub.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Here's what the Hue app says: Philips Hue works with the Google Assistant and Google Home speaker to control all the lights throughout your house, wherever you are in the house, with just the sound of your voice. Interested in another way to control your lights? Add a Google OnHub router to your home and invite your guests to control the lights directly at On.Here from any computer, tablet or mobile browser - no app required. So I am not sure if just a Phillips bulb will work with Google.
