• Yes, but wouldn't recommend it, you will have a hard time controlling them.

• You can but I recommend the hub. I have the Smart Things Hub and for some reason, it had a connection issue.

• Hue bulbs require the Hue Bridge in order to work with SmartThings. Directly from the SmartThings website, "Note: SmartThings’ Philips Hue integration requires use of the Philips Hue Ethernet Bridge."
