Nothing really. We use them with Alexa but that’s only so they can turn on and off automatically

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They will work in any light socket but you need to use Apple Home, Echo, or Google Voice to control them by voice. They work great with Siri and Echo at my house. You also need to purchase the Phillips Hue Bridge which connects to your home WiFi to control your light by voice or by phone. I would suggest a package deal that includes the Hue Bridge and a couple lights.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am sure they work with other smart home devices but I use them with Amazon Echo/Alexa and they work fantastic. You can even ask her to dim them to a certain percentage and it works. You can also control them with the Hue app.
