- Answer It's not waterproof. I have one as our front light outside our front door but it doesn't get wet there. It's been there a while and seems to be fine.

- Answer Soft. This is more yellow at 2700k but it’s nice and bright. For reference, more white, which is what I think you’re looking for, would be in 4000k and blues are up in that 6000k range.

- Answer The previous users answer is incorrect. The bulb is 17 watts but gives the equivalent brightness of a 100 watt standard bulb. It even states right on the package that it is 17 watts.
