- Answer This would replace an existing bulb in a recessed outlet, it does not come with the actual recessed housing.

- Answer Yes. You can use the app to turn it on/off. You can also use Alex or Google to turn on/off too. I use the Hue high hat with the Hue motion sensor. When someone walks in the room the hue motion sensor turns on the Hue high hats.

- Answer From what I've read, these bulbs are okay outdoors, so long as they are protected from the elements. Hue makes some outdoor fixtures, but I'd think that an outdoor recessed light is pretty well protected anyways

QuestionCan I change warmth (from yellow to white) via app? And also can I change the brightness of the light using wall mounted dimmer switch once the warmth of the light is fixed

QuestionWhere is the serial number on a philips hue recessed light? The fixture has a few numbers on it but they look like six digit model numbers preceded with the letter "E". There is a longer number starting with "9" a symbol and four unique characters.
