“Can you plug the power cord into a switched outlet? Or does the power supply have to always be plugged in? I would like to put these on a switched outlet and have the startup color "memorized" if possible.”

• Yes, you can do that. In the light settings you can customize the “Power on Behaviour” to be a custom colour/brightness, or set it to the ‘last used’ colour and brightness.
