“looking for Hue light that will work with BR40 -65w indoor kitchen pocket/floodlight. I see that there are BR30 I'm just not sure if that will work with our size which indicates BR40. Please advise”

• BR40 is slightly larger, so BR30 will fit just fine but may not fill out the can as much.

• BR40 lamps have a larger diameter. Therefore a BR30 will fit in a BR40 location but there will be some extra room between the lamp and luminaire housing.

• I can't answer your question, but adapters between any sizes are readily available online. That's what I did to use a Hue bulb on an aardvark size.
