Q: QuestionMy current lights are BR40's. Will the BR30's fit or do I need to replace the canister?

Q: QuestionI need to replace a 65W 120 Volt light that we had over our whirlpool tub in bathroom. I tried GE HD Relax led bulb soft white and GE HD REFRESH DAYLIGHT BULB 65 W those were extremely bright. I want good light but I don't want to be blinded. Help!

• A:Answer These lights are dimmable and color temperature adjustable. You can dial them into exactly what you want. Make sure you have a Hue Bridge to use them otherwise check out Phillips other line of smart bulbs that only require WiFi to work, Wiz.

Q: QuestionAre these bulbs dimmable with Alexa/Echo DOT like the Phillips A19 that I currently have? I read they have 4 ambient lighting scenes, but don't know if the are ALSO continuously dimmable?

• A:Answer Yes, they come preset with four scenes but you can change the scenes and bulbs to whatever you want them to be. You can even create new scenes.

Q: QuestionAre these the BR30 E26? I need the brightest white cool to warm bulb since is for a kitchen with low light.

• A:Answer Actually that's incorrect. The ambiance bulb is the dimmest BR30 that Hue sells. The non-ambience, non color changing Hue BR30 is (at least) 150 lumens brighter. It's less than 3000K color temperature so closer to a warm old incandescent bulb. I can't actually find any specs for color temp range for these adjustable ambience bulbs, but at 650 lumens, you'll need more than one bulb to light any area you actually need to see in.

Q: QuestionI had canless integrated LED bulbs in my bedroom; the light gives me headaches so I removed them.I have (4) 6" - 6 3/8" holes in my ceiling. I want to install the Hue White Ambiance BR30 bulbs. What housing (can) do I use and what trim do I use. Help

• A:Answer Hi Linda, Any BR30 can/housing will work. I’d recommend taking your measurements and pictures to your local hardware store in case of special considerationS (height of the can, connectivity, etc). There are also various trims to select from based on personal preference. Good luck.
