As far as I know, there are multiple ways. One way I know for sure is using AuraSync on an Asus laptop. Mine will do that and it's pretty interesting to see the lights match what my PC is doing. I think you can also sync it with programs that have been preset to react in movies to certain scenes. There are also apps/programs that let you do more with Hue/hubs with your PC over bluetooth. Some Google research should find a few. I have my entire house set up with Hue lights, will never go back to non-smart lights. These are so nice to be able to adjust for mood, holidays, day vs. evening, nightlights, motion detect, etc. Not inexpensive by any means, but to me a very worthy upgrade. As for Aurasync, I know it will link to a hub, but have not played around enough to know if I can select specific lights. When I did to it, all the downstairs lights turned blue and then started rainbow shifting. Wife was not amused. ;)
