“If I buy a few of these can I make each one a different color for the holidays or do they all have to be the same? Also can they “toggle” between colors while on? For example, switches between red and blue on the 4th of July.”

The Hue app will let you create a scene with each light being a different color. The Hue Lab section of the app does have a what are called living scenes that cycle through colors but I don’t think they are too programmable. I’ve used the Halloween and Christmas ones but they can be buggy. There may be 3rd party apps that let you create your own “living scenes”. I haven’t used any of these apps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The simple answer is yes for having each lamp a different color. It is the same for all Philips Hue color lamps. Each device or bulb can be controlled individually either through the app or through voice control. Insofar as changing colors while on, you can of course, change them by voice command. I have never tried, but I assume they could be programmed through the app to change colors after a certain period of time as you can program them to have different colors at different times of the day.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can, as long as you have the hub. You can make them any color you want. Different 3rd party hue apps have different features. Also the native hue app has a very easy setting to loop colors.
