Yes they can work on a schedule via an app, but there is no mechanism to have them function with motion unless you purchase the item called Philips Hue Motion Detector and have it paired with these lights through the app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, & both in combination. I've set them up with a Phillips motion sensor. They come on when triggered by motion, only from dawn to dusk. You must use the sensor though. The sensor also gives you the temperature in that area.
