This light can be taken outside. 2-3 hours on a full charge. It is not waterproof.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you don't have a Hue hub you won't be able to control it with your phone. Without a hub you'll only be able to control it with the button on the bottom that just has a few preset colors and brightnesses.

It adds a special atmosphere when I'm sitting outside on my deck with around 3 hours on a single charge. It appears to be very well made with a tight seal around the bulb so I would think, water resistant but would be careful not to get it wet. I was more concerned about the GO rolling off the table so I purchased small round piece of Styrofoam from a craft store and the GO sits in it most of the time inside or out.
