No. They're light bulbs and subject to the same kinds of damage any bulb is.

It can definitely break if struck or dropped, but the LED chip underneath will probably still work if not impacted by the outer damage. In short, it's not like an incandescent or CLF that will be destroyed by breaking the "glass."

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.After buying these last night I would have to say no. When I opened up the box I found one of the bulbs busted. The box didn't show any signs of damage so I have to say they are pretty fragile.
