Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The correct answer to this is no for the part not connected to power but if you go on YouTube there is a workaround for the part cut off. I have not attempted it but it is there. I have not read the warranty to see if it voids anything. If you do attempt the workaround make sure all the leads are connected correctly or you could short out your Hue Strip. For mine, I have one actual strip running behind a 55" Samsung 4K with one extension strip. I found a four 3' extension cables to jump the signal down to my entertainment center and mount. I used two 3' jumper cables to follow the mount down under the table. Under the top of the table I have another extension strip attatched to the drawer and from the drawer going down one more shelf I have one 3' jumper cable to attach another light strip extension. Make sure you only use up to how many it allows by feet or inches. After the max length reached the power will drop off. I hope this helps!
