For the average sized living room I would say no. For a small bedroom, possibly. My medium sized living room, I have 3 play bars and 4 regular bulbs. These are better suited for accent lighting in a room.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have two (1 pair) facing the wall behind the tv. When on brightest and a whiteish color they do help illuminate my smallish living room but I’m unsure how much light u need for your room. I would consider a pair of these play lights similar to a 60 watt bulb.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They provide a good bit of light, but they wouldn’t suffice to light the whole room. I have 4 on top of my entertainment center. The room also has 6 can lights and a couple oof regular Hue bulbs in lamps, and I wouldn’t say that is too much for a large den 20’ X 20’.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends how big the living room is. I put 3 behind my 35” monitor and I’m debating adding the other one. I would say 4 could light up a living room but maybe get another two pack so you can either add them if need be or you could place them by the couch or maybe behind your computer. All depends on how vivid and intense you want the lighting.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. While these lights go a great job illuminating the back of a TV, they are not nearly as bright as the Hue LED strips. They will certainly illuminate a beautiful aura behind the TV that looks incredible with the lights off. However, if you’re trying to light up the room, I’d recommend using another hue product like the LED strips.
