• Yes they can and yes you can set to whatever color you want. The only limitation will be the power cord, the come with one plug for both lights and the rods are not that long. You may have to find an extra plug depending on how far apart you're going, which I'm not sure if you buy or not. You may want to consider the floor lights or Philips - Hue Bloom Table Lamp or the Go Table lamp for your purpose.
