“Has anyone used these bulbs in an outside porch light (enclosed under porch so doesn't get any rain, snow, etc.)? Was wondering as then I would have the option to turn them on if I'm away when it gets dark.”

I currently use several Hue bulbs in outside light fixtures on my front and back porch. Have used them for over two years with no issues. As long as the bulb is close enough to communicate with the Hue hub you can control it while away.
