Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. The guest will have to flip the switch off first, but once on again it will restore to its default setting—which in my case is programmed to warm, 100%.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For the bulb to work with the phone, the switch must be on all of the time. They do work with the switch, but with limited effect. The guest would need to turn the switch off and then back on. At that time the bulb will come on with full brightness. If the guest does not leave the light on afterwards then you will need to turn the switch on to control it with the phone. An alternative is to buy a Philips Hues dimmer switch which would allow them to control it using the dimmer switch and not impact the phone connectivity.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably not the way you think. For the Philps Hue bulbs (and other smart bulbs) to work, the power must be left on and the Hue App or this remote is used to turn the light on/off and dim or bright. Why do you not leave the dimmer in the bathroom. That is my intention with this so that guests have a physical switch and they do not need the Hue App and access to my system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you would want to get a dimmer or light recipe kit
