Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends. If you have a finished basement with recessed lighting, chances are the bulbs are a BR30 type. (unscrew one of your existing bulbs and look for the model number near the base) Since there are different types (sizes) of recessed bulbs, make sure you know the bulb type before buying. Also, be sure that your Philips Hue bridge (or compatible Zigbee hub) are within range of the bulbs if you expect to get any remote functionality. (Basement walls are usually cement and make excellent radio frequency blockers if your hub isn't nearby) Then again, they will work as regular dumb bulbs using just the wall light switch - albeit expensive ones.
