I have a fairly extensive Philips Hue environment in my apartment and I honestly don't know how I dealt with prior light bulbs before investing in this. I will say, after getting everything set up... I wish I would have splurged on the color bulbs from the get go, as they provide all the same shades of white that the Ambiance do... (At least to my eyes they do) Highly recommend Philips Hue, but take my advice, go for a fully immersible color environment. If you buy 1 bulb in color, you're kidding yourself if you don't look back and wish they all put out the same spectrum of color.

These lights are expensive but they're entirely worth it. The entire philips hue ecosystem works great, their easy to install, controlling them from your phone is so convenient especially since they turn on and off when you leave and come home. you wont regret buying these. I own the color bulbs as well.

The Philips hue light bulbs are essential in our homes today, the easy light control, ability to time the bulb and the dimming ability makes hue the best light bulbs in the market. Alexa control adds another dimension to the "playfulness" of this product, just imagine opening the door to your house with the degree of light warmth you favor...

Simple to use, connects with home and apps fast. I haven't found a smart light I like better. New house is about halfway hue smart lights at this point, and it's only a matter of time before my lighting project is complete.

Works exactly as expected. Set up was quite easy and now I voice control it with Google home. The bulb was for warm white light, so the dimming feature was quite nice. Will try it with color changing bulbs next.

Needed some Hue bulbs in a guest bedroom and decided to try these out instead of the BR30 color option. These work great and do all shades of white (cool - warm). Super easy to control like other hue products

I have the colored lights throughout our house. I purchased these for our daughter's room and they work as expected. Easy to set up and just as bright as the lights they replaced.

I have track lights in my living room, and was originally going to change the dimmer switch to a smart dimmer. It did not work out (turned out to be one of the only switch boxes in the house without an available neutral wire.). After considering options, I decided go with changing the bulbs. So glad! It turned out to be the better option in the long run. The led bulbs are much more efficient than the halogens that they replaced. They are nice and bright white when needed for reading and offer so many brightness and shade options for other activities. I also put one in my entry way, which had a cfl in the recessed fixture. Works great! I love being able to include these bulbs in home automation programs and also to be able to control via voice. They are a bit expensive, but led bulbs last and these offer good functionality. The preset scenes in the Hue app for these bulbs are very nice, plus you can create your own. Integration with SmartThings, Alexa and Stringify flows is a snap.

Recently moved to a new home and have been wanting to add some home automation. Looked at these for about a month before I went with them. Easy to set up. Have worked great with a number of apps. Only reason why it didn't get 5 stars they are pricey

I love these bulbs they work great with Alexa and was very easy to set up. My lights on voice control are super cool.

these bulbs work great for dimming and changing the color white. $25 for a plastic bulb seems a lot pricey; however, when I was installing it I dropped it 5ft and it didn't smash and it still worked so maybe it being plastic was a good thing.I love having them set up with Alexa, but u have to be VERY specific what u ask for otherwise they don't turn on. the other thing that sucks is when a power surge happens and the power comes back on I come home to a house that has all of the lights blaring!

The variety in colors on these lights make them worth the cost. While I wish they were cheaper they fantastic. Fitting inside the recessed light spaces they allow you to put different feels to various parts of the house based on mood or event. A wide variety of white to gray/blue colors. I think I will try the full color ones next.

BR-30 are the standard for in-ceiling lighting, and these Phillips Hue BR-30 smart light bulbs are a great way to add "intelligence" to your smart home. They are easy to setup as long as you have the required Phillips Hue Bridge already in place. These bulbs can be controlled by a free app on your Apple or Android phone or by the Amazon Echo/Dot or Google Home voice controlled assistants. The other important thing to understand is the light itself. These bulbs have 680 lumens of brightness and are just as bright as the standard bulbs that my contractor had installed in the rest of the ceiling light fixtures. I can't tell the difference between these bulbs and standard ones until i change the color temperature from warm to cool.

I purchase this bulb for an outdoor porch fixture. Instead of having to purchase an electrical switch timer and have an electrician install it, low and behold, my Hue App has a timer for the bulbs. Easy to set up the bulb in my Hue App, and within minutes the outdoor fixture turns on at dusk and off in 7 hrs. Love it,

With so many options available in the market, it is very challenging to find the one that is not only priced reasonably but also comes with peace of mind. Have had no issues with any Philips Hue line. Easy to connect and always reliable. The app keeps improving with new functions and prompt firmware updates. Works seamlessly with both GH and Alexa. The adjustable white option works perfectly too, particularly when you need to stay focused or energized. Pair it with a dimmer switch, you get a lot more options to easily switch to different modes.

I have my entire lower level in our home equipped with Hue Lights. Most of them are Color versions but didn't need the color for the stairs going up so bought these instead. Great lights easily controlled with a Phillips wall switch. Highly recommend Hue lighting

We use four of these lights in the kitchen with our google home. Work great with the Philips Hue app and the google home app. Sucks they are a little pricey but at least you don’t have to worry about them messing up, they will last you forever!

Philips Hue bulbs are an awesome invention! Paired with our Amazon Echo devices, voice commands turning the lights on and off a wonderful asset to our home. Our family and friends are in awe of how we make the lights do what we want!

I purchased these to add to the Hue starter kit previously purchased. The Hue system is nice because they supply a hub that only requires one Wi-Fi connection no matter how many bulbs you have. We have placed these through out the house and use Echo dots with Alexa to control them. It is nice to be able to dim them to a percentage, turning them on & off by just telling Alexa. It is as easy as screwing in a light bulb & following Wi-Fi instructions.

I love HUE lights. These are perfect for people that are renting and can't install dimmer switches. Also great to be able to control from Siri or a Harmony remote. You can adjust the color temperature with these bulbs so you can have it look exactly the way you want. I think these things are way overpriced, but they are addicting. They are like potato chips and you'll want more. Try to catch them on sale and have fun enhancing the ambiance of your crib.
