yes as long as you group all 4 lights together
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can control up to 2 rooms with one switch. You can't choose individual lights within the rooms, but only rooms themselves, at least that's all I've figured out. I currently have mine just doing my living room which is 2 lights but I could add my hallway which has another 2. It's a pretty basic switch. If you add 2 rooms, it will turn on and control both rooms together but you can set separate dimmer settings, see pic. Hopefully that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, as long as you program it for that switch. For example, name it kitchen lights. And keep those four lights together as a "room" in the app.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Each Phillips Hue Dimmer Switch can control a number of different Hue lights at the same time. I am not sure what the maximum is, but I have a couple of these Dimmer Switches with the controlling anywhere from 2 lights to 9 different lights at a time. The Hue Dimmer Switch should not have any problem controlling 4 Hue lights recessed in a ceiling. Do keep in mind that the metal surrounding most recessed lights can affect Wifi signal. I personally, have not had any problems, but I have read about others who have.
