Unfortunately, no. At least not in the context you are describing. Because the way this is configured is that it controls lighting based on groups (or ROOMS in the philips HUE app). So if all 5 lights are configured as one (1) room, then they will be controlled as one. The work around is to configure that "5th" bulb into another room of its own, then you can control it by itself. But the downside is it messes the light groupings from the way you really wanted them to be logically grouped. And you will have to modify whatever routines you already have configured such that you will now be creating routines for 2 rooms instead of the original one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can do that on the app. Unfortunately the control does not have that capabilities as of yet. It will only control one set of lights. But when synced it sometimes syncs with other lights on the same bridge. But you can control them better with your phone app. I hope that helps. But I understand your conundrum. I have I have about 15 Hue light bulbs but I control them with two Hue light switch.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So if I understand you question correctly, yes you can. With in the Hue App you tell the switch which bulbs to control regardless of what bulbs are in the given room. If you want it to control just to one - fine, control the whole room - fine. Changing it is very simple as well so if your needs change or just change your mind then change it. You may even be able to program scenes so depending on the current scene selected you may be able to dim/turn on or off, 1 or multiple bulbs without having to change programming.....hmmm got me thinking, I will have to try this in my Kitchen where I have 12 bulbs total (1 over the sink, 6 over the kitchen, and 5 over the dinning area.) Currently I have one switch doing the group of 6 and then another doing the group of 5 and then just rely on my phone or Google Home commands to control the one over the sink.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes this is possible. You can group lights however you like writhin The app. You can also group whatever lights you want grouped to a switch. It is easy to set up and change.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you'll need to set them up as 2 separate rooms to be able to achieve that. You can group them later to have 1 ultimate control, but they will need to ultimately be under 2 rooms in the setup
