  • QuestionWhat’s the difference between this and the Philips series 5000, other than twice the cost?

    Asked by Fuzzycheeks.

    • Answer Hello! The Philips Lady Shaver Series 6000 (BRL128/04) is designed for body and sensitive area shaving with a 3-blade system, wet and dry use, up to ~80 min cordless runtime, and gentle rounded trimmer tips for comfort. It's ideal for legs, underarms and bikini areas. The Philips 5000 products are generally facial or rotary shavers tailored to different hair removal needs (e.g., facial fuzz or beard trimming) with different cutting technology and performance for those uses. So the price difference mainly comes from purpose and technology — the BRL128/04 is a body shaver with wet/dry versatility, while Series 5000 models focus on facial shaving performance, which affects design and cost.

  • QuestionWith a dry shave, do you need to use a shaving gel?

    Asked by JD.

    • Answer Hello! No, you do not need shaving gel for a dry shave with the Philips Lady Shaver Series 6000 Cordless shaver, Wet & Dry BRL137/00. Shaving gel or foam is only required if you choose to do a wet shave.

  • QuestionDo I need a power adapter to charge this product? If so, which one?

    Asked by Chuck.

    • Answer Hello! The Philips Lady Electric Shaver Series 6000 (BRL137/00) charges via a USB charging cable. You can use any standard 5V USB power adapter (such as a phone charger) to plug it into a wall outlet. Please note that the power adapter is not included in the box.
