• NO! absolutely not. There's a label on the shaver upon opening the package that indicates this. To satisfy my curiosity I tried plugging it in and turning it on . . . it does not run.

• No, this shaver does not work when plugged in to a wall outlet. You must charge the battery and disconnect the AC power cable before shaving.
